Horn 704/37300 is an aftermarket part for the JCB machines. The card also lists 335/B4669, 401/L8899.
The horn is an electromagnetic sound signal that lets the operator warn people nearby, a basic part of safety on site and on the road. A coil inside vibrates a diaphragm to produce a loud sound. The horn is worked by a button on the column switch or panel, and on some machines it is fed through a relay. If the horn does not work, check the fuse, relay, button and earth first; a weak or rasping sound may mean water has got inside or the diaphragm is damaged. On many sites the horn, together with the reversing alarm, is among the items checked in safety inspections. The horn is chosen for voltage, since a 12 V horn soon burns out on a 24 V system.

Fitting
Moisture and corrosion inside the connector are a common cause of false signals from sensors and switches, so clean the connector and use contact spray if needed. Renew the connector seal if it is missing. The part is chosen by part number, and its connector type is compared with the old part.
