Hydraulic breaker gas charging valve 331/67315 is a genuine JCB part for the JCB HM380 hydraulic breaker.

This valve is used to charge the gas chamber of the JCB HM380 hydraulic breaker (Hammermaster) with nitrogen and to check its pressure; the JCB parts catalogue lists 331/67315 as the gas valve set. The breaker's impact energy depends on the nitrogen pressure in the chamber, so when the pressure falls the blows weaken and the breaker works poorly. A worn or leaking charging valve lets gas escape slowly, and the breaker then needs frequent recharging. Fitting

Before replacing the valve, fully release the gas from the breaker with the proper charging kit; never unscrew the valve under gas pressure. Tighten the new valve with a clean O-ring to the specified torque. Then charge the breaker with nitrogen only, to the pressure the maker specifies; never use air or oxygen. After charging, check around the valve for leaks with soapy water.
