Starter relay connector with wires is an aftermarket part for the construction machinery, trucks and other vehicles. According to the product card, this connector fits the starter relay; the wires are 2.5 and 0.5 mm² and 120 mm long.

A connector with wires is a ready-made plug with wire leads already fitted, for connecting a sensor, relay or electrical unit. When the old connector breaks, its terminals corrode or its latch snaps off, the connection becomes intermittent; the pre-wired connector is spliced into the harness, making this repair easier.

Fitting

For the repair, cut off the old connector, join the wires one by one by soldering or with suitable crimp connectors and insulate them with heat-shrink sleeving. Wire cross-sections must match the old ones. After connecting, check that the unit works. Secure the repaired joint to the harness.
