Flasher relay 716/C6032 is an aftermarket part for the JCB machines. The card also lists 716/25800.
The flasher relay makes the turn signal and hazard lamps flash at a set rate. It monitors the current drawn by the lamps and usually flashes faster when a bulb has failed, telling the operator a lamp is faulty. A faulty relay leaves the indicators dead, lit continuously or flashing unevenly. Working indicators are essential for safety when driving on the road. The hazard lights warn other traffic when the machine is stopped at the roadside or moving slowly, and the flasher relay also runs this function. If the indicators do not work at all, check the fuse first, then the relay; if one side does not work, the cause is usually the bulb or wiring on that side.

Fitting
If the socket contacts show oxide or melting, check the socket too, since a faulty socket heats the new relay as well. The relay is chosen by part number so that its voltage, current rating and pin layout match the old one.
