70x3.0 mm pin shim washer KMV0144 is an aftermarket part for the JCB JS crawler excavators. According to the product card, this part is a pin shim washer, size 70x3.0 mm.

Pin shim washers take up the axial clearance between the eyes of a joint. In bucket, dipper and boom joints the parts wear over time and play develops between the eyes, causing knocks as the bucket moves, fast wear of pins and bushes and a loss of precision. Fitting one or more shims of the right thickness removes the play and the joint works tightly again.
