Hydraulic accumulator SBO140-1,4E1/112U-140AK is a genuine HYDAC product for the hydraulic systems.

An accumulator's performance depends on its nitrogen precharge: the precharge is chosen for the lowest working pressure of the circuit and can fall over time as nitrogen escapes. A low precharge reduces the oil volume the accumulator can store and overloads the diaphragm or bladder. An accumulator is a pressure vessel: release all system pressure before removing it, and never drill, weld or heat the shell. Measure the precharge only with a proper charging kit and fill only with nitrogen; oxygen or air must never be used. The genuine HYDAC accumulator comes in the pressure and volume class given in its code. The accumulator is chosen by its number or code and its precharge pressure.

Fitting

Before removing the accumulator, stop the engine and release all system pressure by working the control levers several times. Compare the new accumulator's precharge with the value on its label; charge a discharged accumulator only with nitrogen using a proper kit. Renew the connection seal and tighten the accumulator to the specified torque; if the shell is held by a clamp, refit the clamp. After fitting, check that the related circuit works.
