Hydraulic pipe 333/G1681 is a genuine JCB part for the JCB machines.

Slew cylinder pipes carry oil to the cylinders that swing the backhoe left and right, and they take vibration and shocks every time the boom swings. Left and right pipes differ in shape. The pipe ends connect directly to the cylinder ports, so check the port threads and seals during the change. A cracked pipe can weaken the swing in one direction and let the boom drift under load. After replacing the pipe, swing the boom fully left and right several times to bleed the air and check the joints for leaks. The pipe is chosen by part number and compared with the old one for shape, end fittings and brackets. The aftermarket pipe comes new with its ends capped for transport. A leaking pipe not only loses oil but can also let dust and dirt into the system.

Fitting

Before fitting, release the system pressure and cap the hoses. Put the new pipe in place, start the connections by hand, then tighten the clamps and unions; start the engine and check for leaks. Do not bend or force the pipe during fitting, since a pipe under strain cracks.
