Left-hand telescopic ram hydraulic pipe 128/17338 is an aftermarket part for the JCB Loadall telehandlers. According to the product card, this is the left-hand metal pipe of the telescopic ram, used on machines with a telescopic boom.

A hydraulic pipe is a steel pipe laid along the arm on a fixed route to carry pressurised oil to a cylinder or valve, with fittings at each end for hoses or the cylinder. A pipe crushed or cracked by a knock, chafing or vibration leaks and loses pressure, and a high-pressure oil leak is also a safety hazard. The pipe is bent to follow the route on the arm, so it is chosen by part number and by side, left or right. The genuine pipe comes bent to JCB's drawing with its end fittings fitted. The pipe is steel with an anti-corrosion coating. Left and right pipes differ in shape and are not interchangeable. The pipe is supplied new with its ends capped. Keep the pipe fittings under protective caps until fitting. The pipe is light and easy to fit, ideally with two people.
