Fitting

Before disconnecting, clean around the joint and release the lock as the maker intends (by pressing the tabs or pulling the ring), since yanking breaks the tabs. Push the new adaptor onto the end until it clicks and pull back gently to check it has locked. After bleeding, run the engine and check for leaks. When the joint is released, some fuel spills from the line; mop it up with a cloth and keep it off hot parts. Each time the joint is undone, inspect the adaptor's lock and O-rings.
