This column switch is designed for machines from makers other than JCB and has the connector and wiring layout of that machine's harness. In sources and on the product card its numbers are those of the machine or transmission maker, and the switch is chosen by that number and the old switch's connector. Its mounting bracket must sit firmly on the steering column, since a loose bracket makes the lever positions uncertain. After the change, test every position and the related functions. The switch comes new, and its bracket and connector are compared with the old one. Push the connector home until it locks. Tie the harness down.
