Servo pressure switch 12 bar 332/J0670 is an aftermarket part for the JCB JS crawler excavators. The card also lists 701/80374.

The pilot pressure switch fits in the pilot (servo) hydraulic circuit of a crawler excavator and senses the pilot pressure created when a joystick is moved. According to sources, 332/J0670 is the 12 bar pressure switch for upper-structure (front equipment and slew) servo pressure on JCB JS excavators. With this signal the control system knows the operator is using the controls and raises engine speed from idle to working speed (auto idle) or adjusts pump control. A faulty switch stops engine speed rising, makes the machine sluggish or prevents auto idle working. The switch comes new.

Fitting

Before the change, stop the engine and relieve the pilot circuit pressure by moving the controls a few times. Clean around the switch, remove it and fit the new one with a new seal, tightened to the specified torque. After connecting the plug, start the engine and use the relevant control to check that engine speed rises.
