Front wiper motor 334/G7574 JCB, genuine

For the JCB machines: front wiper motor 334/G7574, a genuine JCB part. The card also lists 333/C1590, 714/40147.

The wiper motor can be exposed to water and dust from outside the cab, so the body seal and connector cover must be in place. Running the wiper on dry glass wears the blade and loads the motor, so wet the glass first. In winter, clear the ice before running the wiper on an iced screen, otherwise the motor can blow its fuse or damage its gearbox. After the change, check the arm's park position and reposition the arm on its shaft if needed. If the wiper blade is worn, replace it at the same time.

Fitting

Before the change, switch off the ignition and disconnect the battery negative. Unplug the motor, undo its fixing screws and lift it out. Fit the new motor in the same position, tighten the screws evenly and push the connector home until it locks. After reconnecting the battery, run the motor at every setting and check there is no noise or vibration.
