Heater blower assembly with motor is an aftermarket part for the construction machines. The card gives no part number; this is a complete heater blower with its electric motor. Match the unit to the old one: mounting, fan diameter, voltage and connector must be the same.
In air-conditioned cabs the blower works for both heating and cooling, and if it stops, air flow through the evaporator ceases and the evaporator can ice up, so a blower fault in such cabs is not put off. Blower motors for cabs with and without A/C may differ, so the motor is chosen by cab equipment and part number. Keep the ducts and vents downstream of the fan open, since closed vents make the motor draw more current. After fitting, check that air comes from every vent. The motor sits in the heater unit housing inside the cab, so panels or covers may need removing to change it.

Compatibility
The card gives no original part number. Fit is confirmed by the dimensions and machine model. Other parts are in Electric motors.
Fitting
Before the change, switch off the ignition and disconnect the battery negative. Unplug the motor, undo its fixing screws and lift it out. Fit the new motor in the same position, tighten the screws evenly and push the connector home until it locks. After reconnecting the battery, run the motor at every setting and check there is no noise or vibration.
