LED beacon LED H124 D156 is an aftermarket part for the JCB machines.

An LED beacon is an amber warning light that makes a working machine noticeable from a distance, an important part of safety on sites, by the roadside and in yards. LEDs draw far less current than old filament bulbs, are less affected by vibration and need no bulb changes. The light pattern (rotating or flashing) is produced by groups of LEDs under the amber cover. The beacon is chosen by the height and diameter given on the product card, taking into account its place on the cab roof and any low doorways. The beacon is placed at the highest point of the cab roof so its light is not shaded by cab equipment.

Fitting

After fitting, switch the beacon on and off to check it works and is visible from every side, routing the cable so it is not trapped by doors or windows and does not touch moving parts. The part comes new; before fitting, compare its part number, voltage and connection type with the old part. After the change, check the function and the warnings on the instrument panel; the connections must be clean, dry and tight.
