Battery 125Ah 12V 1000A, aftermarket

Battery 125Ah is an aftermarket part for the backhoe loaders and other construction machines.

The battery powers the machine's electrics when the engine is not running and, above all, gives the starter the heavy current needed to start the engine. A battery has two key values: capacity (Ah) shows how much energy it stores, and cold cranking current (A, EN) how much current it can deliver briefly in the cold. For construction machines, especially in winter, a battery with a high cold cranking current is preferred. This battery is 12 V, 125 Ah with 1000 A cold cranking current, a maintenance-free (MF) calcium type. No water is added to maintenance-free batteries; keep the battery clean and dry. Calcium-technology batteries lose less water and self-discharge more slowly than conventional ones.

Fitting

Before fitting, compare the terminal layout (which side the positive is on) and terminal type with the old battery, so the cables reach without strain. Check the charge with a voltmeter before first use: a rested, fully charged 12 V battery reads about 12.6-12.8 V.
