Beacon 24V (200x155 mm) JCB, aftermarket

Beacon 24V (200x155 mm) is an aftermarket part for the JCB machines. According to the product card, the beacon is 24 V, 200 mm high and 155 mm in diameter.

A rotating beacon (amber warning light) makes a working machine noticeable from a distance, and it is an important part of safety on building sites, by the roadside and in yards. The light source under the amber cover produces a rotating or flashing light visible from every direction. Safety rules on many sites require the beacon to be on while the machine is moving. A beacon with a cracked cover or dimmed light is poorly visible, especially in daylight and dust, and is replaced. The beacon's visibility also depends on where it sits on the roof: place it where the A/C unit or work lights on the cab do not shade it. If the machine is going indoors or under low ceilings, take the beacon down first. The current the beacon draws from the 12 V socket must not exceed the rating of the socket's fuse.
