Upper carriage clamp body 123/06751 JCB 3CX/4CX, aftermarket

For the JCB 3CX and 4CX backhoe loaders: upper carriage clamp body 123/06751, an aftermarket part. According to the product card, the body has two holes.

Clamp parts differ by position (upper or lower), number of holes and machine model and are chosen by part number. When a clamp body or piston is replaced, the seals and shoes are renewed too. After assembly the sideshift is operated a few times and it is checked that the clamped carriage does not slip. The clamp hoses and unions are checked for leaks. The clamp system pressure must be at the maker's value, as low pressure lets the carriage slip. The surfaces between the clamp shoes and rails are kept clean and free of grease.

Fitting
