Axle tube bearing 907/08400 is an aftermarket part for the JCB 3CX and 4CX backhoe loaders. This bearing is the cylindrical roller bearing fitted in the axle tube (casing arm).

Fitting

When the old bearing is removed, check the housing and shaft seat for burrs, rust and wear, since a worn seat lets the new bearing spin. Renew the seals and O-rings next to the bearing too. When the axle oil is drained, look at the metal particles in it: a lot of particles suggests the gears may also be worn.
