Transmission gasket 813/50054 is an aftermarket part for the JCB machines.

A transmission gasket seals the joint between the case and its covers, the solenoid valve block or the pump body. The solenoid block gasket also separates the block's passages: when it fails, oil crosses from one circuit to another, gears engage late or wrongly and oil leaks around the block. Under heat and pressure the gasket hardens and compresses over time. Both faces of the gasket must be clean and dry.

Fitting

Before assembly, clean old gasket material off the faces, taking care that no dirt enters the passages. Lay the gasket on the dry face the right way round and tighten the bolts in a cross pattern to the specified torque. Check the joint for leaks after the first run. If a leak appears, do not retighten the bolts; replace the gasket.
