FKM, type H O-ring kit, aftermarket

FKM, type H O-ring kit is an aftermarket part for the construction machines. FKM (fluoroelastomer) is used where resistance to high temperature and fuel is needed.

An O-ring assortment brings together rubber sealing rings of different diameters and cross-sections in a compartment case. When a joint's ring fails in the workshop or on site, a ring of the right size can be taken from the set at once and the machine keeps working without waiting for a part. Sets are especially handy for standard-size joints such as unions, plugs, air conditioning and fuel connections.

Fitting

Before fitting, clean the groove, wet the ring with the working fluid or a suitable grease and seat it without twisting. Keep the case closed and out of the sun, and replenish the sizes used regularly.
