For the construction machines: FKM, type G O-ring kit, an aftermarket part. FKM (fluoroelastomer) is used where resistance to high temperature and fuel is needed.
When picking a ring from the set, compare the inside diameter and cross-section with the old ring or the groove size, since even a millimetre's difference causes a leak or a crushed ring. The rings in the set are general-purpose; for high-pressure hydraulic joints, high temperatures or special fluids, a ring made to a specific part number is preferred.

Fitting
Before fitting, clean the groove, wet the ring with the working fluid or a suitable grease and seat it without twisting. Keep the case closed and out of the sun, and replenish the sizes used regularly.
