Hydraulic ram seal kit 30x60 991/00052 is an aftermarket part for the JCB 3CX and 4CX backhoe loaders. This kit contains all the seals of a hydraulic cylinder.

A seal kit contains all the seals, O-rings, wipers and back-up rings needed to repair one unit. Replacing the kit renews every sealing part at once when the unit is opened, since leaving some old seals alongside new ones can cause another leak soon after the repair. The kit also stops a repair stalling for one missing part.

Compatibility

According to sources, 991/00052 is a hydraulic cylinder seal kit for a 30 mm rod and 60 mm bore, used in clam and steering cylinders. It fits JCB 2CX, 3CX, 4CX, 214, 215 and 217 backhoe loaders, 406 and 408 wheeled loaders and some telehandlers. Other parts are in Seals and oil seals.

Fitting

Before the repair, release the pressure in the circuit and clean the unit outside. Fit the seals wetted with the working fluid, keeping them clear of sharp edges and threads. After assembly, cycle the unit a few times to purge air and check for leaks.
