ALPHA L EP2 yellow multipurpose grease, 400 g is an aftermarket product for the construction machines. EP2 means extreme-pressure additives and NLGI 2 consistency. Pack: cartridge.

Before greasing, the nipple is cleaned, as grease pumped through a dirty nipple carries dirt straight into the joint. Grease is pumped until the old grease and dirt come out at the edge of the joint. A point that will not take grease points to a blocked nipple or passage and is checked at once, because a pin running dry can wear out in a few days. Cartridges and buckets are kept closed and clean, and care is taken not to let dirt in when grease is taken from a bucket.
