Hydraulic pump 20/911200 is an aftermarket part for the JCB 3CX and 4CX backhoe loaders.

The pump turns the engine's mechanical power into hydraulic power, so its condition directly sets the machine's digging performance. In a twin-pump circuit, an unloader valve sends the second section's flow to tank once pressure passes a set value, preventing engine overload. Check the pump shaft splines and the drive coupling for wear too, since worn splines ruin a new pump's shaft. The aftermarket pump matches the original in displacement, shaft, flange and port layout, so it fits the same connections and drive coupling. The pump is supplied new. The aftermarket pump uses the same flange seals and bolts as the original, so the fixings can be transferred from the old pump. Fitting

Before changing the pump, drain and clean the hydraulic tank and renew the suction strainer and filters. Fit the new pump with the shaft and coupling cleaned and the splines lightly greased, and renew the flange seals. Before starting, fill the pump with clean oil, run the engine at idle to bleed the system and then check the pressures.
