Hydraulic pump 332/F9029 is a genuine JCB part for the JCB 3CX and 4CX backhoe loaders. The card also lists 20/925579, 7029120047.

The main hydraulic pump supplies every hydraulic function of the backhoe loader: loader and backhoe arms, steering, stabilisers and attachments all run on its flow. It is a twin pump made of two gear sections on a common shaft, driven from the engine through the transmission. The front and rear sections feed the system separately or together, and on unloaded moves both work together for speed. A worn pump slows the services, loses force under load, overheats the oil and whines. The pump in JCB packaging is the genuine product shipped under the JCB part number, which appears on the pump label. The pump is supplied new. The pump is heavy and should be supported with suitable lifting gear during removal and fitting.

Fitting

Tighten the pump bolts to the specified torque and check the suction hose clamps for air leaks. On first start, slowly run every hydraulic service through its full stroke several times; recheck the oil level and change the filter after the first hours of work.
