Fuel level sender 335/Y2366 is an aftermarket part for the JCB machines. The product card marks this item «IND».
When the gauge reads wrongly, first check the sender connector, wires and earth, then measure the sender's resistance with a multimeter at the empty and full positions. Water and sediment in the tank can make the float stick, so the bottom of the tank is checked as well when the sender is replaced. If the sender's float is punctured, it fills with fuel and sinks, and the gauge always reads empty.

Compatibility
According to the product card, 335/Y2366 is a fuel level sender. The card also lists 334/Y8473. Fit is confirmed by the part number. Other parts are in Sensors and valves.
Fitting
Before the change, make sure the fuel level is below the sender flange and disconnect the battery negative. Clean around the flange, remove the bolts and lift the sender out carefully so the float arm does not catch on the hole. Fit the new sender with a new gasket and tighten the bolts evenly in a cross pattern. After connecting, check the gauge reading and make sure there is no fuel smell or leak at the flange. Check the gauge against the actual tank level after a few refuellings.
