For the JCB machines: injector sleeve 320/02643, an aftermarket part.

The sleeve is chosen by part number for the engine type. Replacing it requires a special puller and fitting tool, and the job is usually done without removing the head, with great care over cleanliness; on some engines the lower end of the sleeve is also expanded to seal it. When the sleeve is changed, the injector's copper washer and O-rings are renewed too. Replacing a sleeve is one of the jobs most demanding of cleanliness, since the cooling and fuel systems are open at the same time; swarf or dirt dropped into the combustion chamber can damage the engine.

Fitting

Before the change, drain the coolant and remove the injector. Pull the old sleeve with a special puller, clean and inspect the bore. Drive the new sleeve in with the fitting tool and the sealant the maker specifies. Refit the injector with a new washer and O-rings, fill and bleed the cooling system, run the engine and check for coolant and gas leaks.
