Front timing cover gasket 02/203128 is a genuine JCB part for the Perkins 1104 (RJ) engine. The card also lists 915-783, 225-8287, 3681P046.

A gasket seals the joint between two parts. When a removed part goes back on, the old gasket is not reused: it has been compressed, lost its elasticity and will leak. Traces of oil, coolant or exhaust at the joint, drips or a whistle show the gasket needs replacing. Check the condition of the fixing bolts along with the gasket.
