According to sources, 25/222907 is the right-hand (R/H) joystick control used on JCB backhoe loaders (2CX, 3CX, 3DX, 4CX, 5CX and others), giving precise control of boom, bucket or attachment movements. It connects through pilot circuit hoses to the lines below the cab floor; label the hoses when removing them and refit them in the same order, otherwise the movements are mixed up. The buttons on the joystick work extra functions depending on the machine's equipment. After the change, try every movement slowly and bleed the pilot circuit.

Fitting

Before the change, switch off the ignition and disconnect the battery negative. Remove the joystick handle from the lever shaft and unplug its cable. Fit the new handle in the same position, route the cable so it is neither stretched nor pinched as the lever moves, and lock the connector. After the change, test every button and lever movement. The part comes new; before fitting, compare its part number and connection type with the old part. After the change, check the function and the warnings on the instrument panel.
