According to sources, 716/30155 is the throttle (engine speed) potentiometer fitted under the instrument panel of JCB JS excavators; the product card lists it as the panel-mounted engine speed potentiometer. The operator turns the knob to choose engine speed, and the potentiometer passes this position to the control unit as a voltage. A worn potentiometer makes engine speed hunt or drop at one position. After replacing it, turn the knob to minimum and maximum and check that engine speed changes correctly. The potentiometer comes new.
