Headlamp with indicator 700/M1920 is an aftermarket part for the JCB machines. The card also lists 700/50055, 700/50151.

This rectangular headlamp combines main and dipped beam in one housing, with the amber section on top serving as the turn indicator. According to sources, 700/M1920 is a 12 V vertically mounted headlamp used on JCB 3CX and 4CX backhoe loaders, Loadall telehandlers and rough terrain forklifts, and it supersedes 700/50055 and 700/50054. Since sources give the dip direction (right or left) differently, the lamp is chosen by comparison with the old one and the R (right) marking on the product card. The breather cap at the back of the headlamp prevents condensation inside, and without it water gets in. Main beam is used only when no oncoming traffic is present. The headlamp is chosen by part number and mounting side.

Fitting

JCB 3CX and 4CX wiring diagrams before and after May 2009: sheets and component keys

Section C of the JCB service manual (publication 9803/3290-15) gives the JCB 3CX and 4CX backhoe loader wiring diagram in two versions: one for machines built up to May 2009 with analogue instruments and one for machines from May 2009 with the digital instrument panel. On the earlier machines the main machine circuit takes two sheets, with separate circuits for the gearboxes and options; the later circuit runs to 15 sheets. Below are the main sheets, the component keys and a guide to reading wire numbers.
