According to sources, 332/K4896 is the control panel of the cab heating system on JCB JS excavators; the product card lists it together with the number 30/927073. It lets the operator manage cab temperature, fan speed and air distribution directly. Connect the new panel to the same connectors and fix it. After reconnecting the battery, switch on the ignition and check that all gauges and warning lamps light during the test and then show normal readings. The part comes new; before fitting, compare its part number, voltage and connection type with the old part. After the change, check the function and the warnings on the instrument panel; the connections must be clean, dry and tight.

JCB JS200–JS260 Monitor Messages: What They Mean and What to Check
On JCB JS200, JS210, JS220, JS240 and JS260 tracked excavators with the AMS control system, the monitor in the cab shows the working mode, the time, gauges for oil temperature, coolant temperature and fuel level, and warnings in the message line. Each message first of all points to a real problem: low fuel or coolant, a blocked filter, overheating. But if a message stays on after the cause has been put right, the sensor, wiring or controller is at fault. Below is what each message means and what to check, based on Section C of JCB service manual 9803/6400.

The section contains technical data, fuses, control locations, operating logic, self-diagnosis and fault finding by monitor messages. The PDF runs to 98 pages.
