For the construction machines: a/C compressor, an aftermarket part. The card gives no part number or machine model; match the compressor to the old one: pulley grooves, mounting lugs, hose connections and clutch coil voltage must be the same.
Changing the compressor means opening the A/C system; the refrigerant is recovered with an A/C service unit and never vented to atmosphere. If the old compressor has shed wear debris, flush the system, and always renew the receiver-drier, since an old drier can no longer hold moisture and will kill the new compressor too. Check the oil quantity in the new compressor against what the system needs and add the right type of oil if short. After fitting, vacuum the system, charge it with the specified amount of refrigerant and measure the pressures. The compressor clutch air gap is the distance between the clutch plate and the pulley, and if it is too large the clutch does not pull in.

Compatibility
The card gives no original part number. Fit is confirmed by the dimensions and machine model. The catalogue also has the aftermarket version of this part. Other parts are in Compressors.
Fitting
Bolt the compressor by its lugs to the engine bracket and set the belt to the specified tension. Use new O-rings at the refrigerant pipe joints, lubricated with refrigerant oil. After connecting the clutch coil connector, switch on the A/C and check that the clutch engages.
