Bulb H3 12V 55W PK22s, aftermarket

Bulb H3 12V 55W is an aftermarket part for the lamps of JCB and other construction machines. The card also lists 720/10061.

H3 is a 55 W halogen bulb with a PK22s base and a wire lead, common in JCB work lights. The product card also gives the JCB number 720/10061. The lead plugs into the connection inside the lamp. The bulb voltage must match the machine's electrical system: a 12 V bulb blows at once on 24 V, and a 24 V bulb glows very dimly on 12 V. The bulb is chosen by its standard designation: type, voltage, wattage and base. The bulb comes new.

Fitting

Before changing the bulb, switch off the circuit and let the lamp cool. Push the bulb fully into its holder, and never touch the glass of halogen bulbs with bare hands. After the change, switch the lamp on to check it works and that the lamp body seal is in place.
