Radiator quick-connect adaptor, straight 332/C0009 is an aftermarket part for the JCB 3CX and 4CX backhoe loaders. This is a straight quick-connect adaptor for the radiator hose.

This part is an accessory of the radiator pack, such as a plastic corner piece protecting the radiator corners, a quick-connect adaptor for a radiator hose or a fan pulley bearing. These small parts keep the radiator and fan working reliably. Corner pieces protect the radiator core from vibration and knocks and help the pack seat in its frame, a quick-connect adaptor lets the hose be connected quickly and leak-free, and a fan pulley bearing lets the fan turn quietly without play. A damaged accessory can eventually lead to a cracked core, leaks or a wobbling fan. Small as they are, such parts directly affect the life of the radiator pack; whenever the pack is removed and refitted, all corner pieces, adaptors and mounts are inspected and damaged ones replaced. Plastic corners become brittle with sun and heat, and renewing them protects the radiator core. The bearing is pressed into the pulley square to its axis.

Fitting

Before the change, stop the engine and drain the coolant if necessary. Remove the old part and clean the connection points. Fit the new part without force and secure it; bearings are pressed in. After assembly, run the engine and check that there is no leak, noise or vibration. When fitting, check the joint areas for burrs.
