For the JCB 3CX and 4CX backhoe loaders: fan blade 30/926950, an aftermarket part.

The fan is chosen by part number according to diameter (for example 558 mm, 22 in), number of blades, hub fitting and direction (suction or blower). When it is replaced, check the clearance to the shroud and the condition of the viscous coupling or pulley, and the fan belt can be renewed too. The fan is carried and stored so that its balance is not disturbed. Inspect the fan for cracks at every service, especially at the blade roots, as even a small crack can make a blade break off at high speed.

Fitting

Before the change, stop the engine and remove the key. Take off the relevant part of the shroud, undo the bolts and remove the fan. Fit the new fan the right way round (by the curve of the blades relative to the engine) and tighten the bolts in a cross pattern to the specified torque. Turn the fan by hand to make sure it clears the shroud, then run the engine and confirm there is no vibration. The gap between the blade tips and the shroud must be even.
