Thrust washer 138982 is an aftermarket part for the backhoe loaders with Carraro axles.

The thrust washer sits between a planet or differential gear and the housing, takes the load on the gear face and limits end float. It stops the gear rubbing on the housing and helps keep the needle rollers in place. A worn washer increases end float, so the gear shifts sideways, the rollers can fall out and the housing shows wear marks.

Fitting
