Washer fluid reservoir 128/G8327 is an aftermarket part for the JCB machines.

The washer reservoir holds the fluid for washing the front and rear glass, with the washer pump mounted on or in it. On construction machines the glass is constantly dirtied by dust, mud and insects; without a working washer the wipers smear the dirt, making visibility worse, and can scratch the glass. A cracked reservoir loses its fluid, and one without its cap collects dirt that blocks the pump. If no anti-freeze washer fluid is used in winter, the reservoir and pump can freeze and crack. The reservoir is chosen by part number for the machine model and pump fitting, and the second number on the card is a version of the same reservoir. The reservoir cap is closed after every refill. Before winter, check the reservoir, pump and hoses and change the fluid to an anti-freeze type.

Fitting

Empty the old reservoir, then mark and remove the pump and hoses. Fit the pump to the new reservoir with a new seal, mount the reservoir on its bracket and connect the hoses. Fill with clean washer fluid and run the washer to check the spray and for leaks.
