Seat cover, grey 333/H6559 is an aftermarket part for the JCB 3CX and 4CX backhoe loaders. According to the product card, the cover is grey.

A seat cover protects the operator seat upholstery from dirt, oil, wear and sun. On construction machines the operator climbs in and out all day in dirty work clothes, and unprotected upholstery soon tears, after which the seat has to be replaced. The cover is tailored to the seat's shape and leaves the adjustment levers, seat belt and armrests uncovered. A cover also reduces how hot the seat gets in warm weather. A worn cover is replaced in time, since it can no longer protect the upholstery beneath; changing a cover is far quicker and cheaper than changing the seat. A new cover also refreshes the look of the cab. Dirt shows less on a dark cover.

Fitting

Clean and dry the seat before fitting. Pull the cover over the back first, then the cushion, lining up the seams with the seat edges, and hook the elastic and clips under the seat. Finally, check that the adjustment levers and seat belt work freely. The cover's edges must not get caught in the slides under the seat. After fitting, the part is checked again after a few hours of work.
