For the JCB 3CX and 4CX backhoe loaders: rear-view mirror 331/26944, an aftermarket part.

The mirror is chosen by part number for the machine model and mounting bracket, as glass size, mounting diameter and adjustment mechanism can differ. When fitting, make sure the bracket is solid and does not loosen with vibration, since a shaking mirror spoils the view. The mirror glass is cleaned regularly. If only the glass is broken and it can be replaced on its own, that option is considered too, provided the housing and adjuster are sound. In winter, ice on the glass is removed without scratching it. Being able to fold the mirror housing saves it from breaking in an impact, so the folding joint is kept clean and lightly greased.

Fitting

Bolt the mirror to its bracket or cab mounting and tighten the bolts so they will not work loose with vibration. Then, sitting in the operator's seat, adjust the mirror to show the side and rear of the machine and tighten the adjusting screw.
