Bonnet corner, right 332/H5797 JCB 3CX/4CX, aftermarket

For the JCB 3CX and 4CX backhoe loaders: bonnet corner, right 332/H5797, an aftermarket part. This is the right bonnet corner piece.

Corner pieces have different part numbers depending on position (left or right, vertical or horizontal) and bonnet version, with separate series for older and newer bonnet types. The right part is chosen by the number on the card and checked against the shape of the old one. Corner pieces are usually made of impact-resistant plastic or metal. The corner piece is supplied to match the bonnet colour. Before fitting the corner piece, treat the area around the screw holes with rust preventer. With the bonnet closed, check that the piece lines up with the surrounding panels.

According to the product card, 332/H5797 is a bonnet corner piece. The card also lists 332/G2472. Fit is confirmed by the part number. Other parts are in Cab.

Fitting

Remove the old corner piece's screws or rivets, clean the bonnet edge and treat any rusty areas. Fit the new piece in the same place and secure it with screws or rivets, as overtightening can crack the plastic. After fitting, check that the bonnet opens and closes freely and that the piece does not rub on anything. There must be no gap between the piece and the bonnet when fitted.
