For the JCB machines: bush 1211/0021, an aftermarket part. According to the product card, this part is a bush.
A pivot bush is a replaceable plain bearing pressed into the eyes of the boom, dipper, bucket and hydraulic cylinders, in which the pin turns. The bush protects the pin and the eye itself from wear: the wear is taken by the bush, and once it is replaced the joint works tightly again. A grease passage and grooves spread grease over the pin surface. When the bush wears, play develops in the joint, the bucket and dipper knock as they move, precision is lost and, if the repair is put off, the eye becomes oval and has to be rebuilt by welding. Bush wear is detected from the play in the joints by gently rocking the dipper with the bucket pressed against the ground.
