Bush 401/L5758 is an aftermarket part for the JCB machines. According to the product card, this part is a bush.

When the bush is replaced, the pin is measured too, as a worn pin soon ruins a new bush. The new bush is fitted square with a suitable drift or press after the eye has been cleaned, and is never struck directly with a hammer. The grease hole in the bush is lined up with the grease passage in the eye. After assembly the joint is greased until the old grease and dirt come out, and it is greased more often during the first days. If the grease passage is blocked, the bush soon runs dry.

Fitting

Remove the old bush with a puller or press, clean the eye and remove any burrs. Lightly oil the new bush and press it in square to the axis, then fit the pin and grease the joint.
