Backhoe boom foot pin bushing 808/00385 JCB, brass, genuine

Backhoe boom foot pin bushing 808/00385 is a genuine JCB bushing for the backhoe boom foot pin on JCB 3CX, 4CX, 5CX backhoe loaders: bore 60 mm, outside diameter 70 mm, length 62 mm. The card also lists 332/G0941. Material: brass.

A bushing is the replaceable bearing surface the pin turns in, and it is pressed into the mounting lug. Wear is meant to happen in the bushing so that the arm or frame lug is protected: the worn bushing is replaced and the expensive main part stays sound. A worn bushing shows as play in the joint, knocking during work and grease leaking out.

Compatibility and selection

Select the bushing by part number 808/00385; the dimensions are in the table. Measuring the bore and outside diameter of the old bushing makes selection easier. Other bushings are in JCB CX series bushings.

Fitting

Before pressing, clean burrs and rust from the bore and check it for ovality. Press the bushing in without tilting it. After assembly, pump grease through the nipple until it comes out on both sides. If the pin has lost diameter, replace the pin too.
