Handbrake cable 910/47800 is an aftermarket part for the JCB machines. According to the product card, this is the handbrake cable of JCB machines; compare its length and ends with the old cable.

The handbrake cable links the handbrake lever in the cab to the parking brake caliper or its lever mechanism. The steel cable slides in an outer sleeve; when water and dirt get inside, the cable rusts and sticks, and the parking brake does not release fully or does not hold properly. A cable close to breaking shows individual broken wires. If the lever travel increases, it is adjusted first; when the adjustment runs out or the cable moves stiffly, it is replaced. If the boots at the sleeve ends are damaged, water gets inside and a cable with torn boots soon sticks again.
