Air conditioning V-belt 331/44674 is an aftermarket part for the JCB JS crawler excavators. According to the product card, the belt is for the JCB JS205 air conditioning, size 13x1138 mm.

The drive belt carries power from the crankshaft pulley to the alternator, water pump, fan and air conditioning compressor. Machines mostly use multi-rib (poly-V, for example 8PK) or V-belts. Over time a belt stretches, hardens and cracks across its ribs; a loose or worn belt slips and squeals, the alternator stops charging, the engine overheats or the air conditioning stops working. A broken belt stops the water pump and fan and can overheat the engine quickly. The belt must be kept away from oil and fuel, as oil softens the rubber and causes slipping.
