For the JCB machines: 80x3.0 mm pin shim washer, an aftermarket part. According to the product card, this part is a pin shim washer, size 80x3.0 mm.

Shim washers are chosen by pin diameter (inside diameter), outside diameter and thickness. The clearance is measured with feeler gauges or a caliper before the pin is removed and the total shim thickness is set from it; thin shims allow precise adjustment. The inside diameter must fit the pin closely, or the shim will move on the pin and wear at the edge.

Fitting

Before fitting the washer, clean the seating faces and remove burrs and old seal remains. Fit the washer the right way round and tighten the joint to the specified torque. Copper and aluminium sealing washers that have been removed are not reused; new ones are fitted.
