Differential friction disc 450/20402 JCB 3CX/4CX, genuine

Differential friction disc 450/20402 is a genuine JCB part for the JCB 3CX and 4CX backhoe loaders. This part is a friction disc of the limited-slip differential (LSD).

Fitting

The differential is changed with the axle opened; because it affects the crown wheel and pinion setting, the work is done with measurements to the service manual. Set the differential bearing preload and the crown wheel backlash, check the contact pattern and torque and lock the crown wheel bolts. Renew the seals and gaskets and fill the axle with the specified oil type and quantity.
