Dozer blade pin 1021/3810 is an aftermarket part for the JCB JS crawler excavators. According to the product card, this part is a dozer blade pin.

Pin life depends largely on greasing: bucket and dipper pins are greased daily and other joints at the maker's intervals. Pump in grease until it pushes out the old grease and dirt. A pin with a blocked grease channel runs dry and can wear out in a few days, so the grease nipples are checked regularly too.

Fitting

Before the change, lower the attachment to the ground or support it securely, stop the engine and release the hydraulic pressure. Remove the locking element and drift the pin out with a suitable punch without damaging the eyes. After cleaning and checking the eye and bush, fit the new pin greased, refit the locking element and grease the joint until clean grease comes out.
