Cleaners are used in a well-ventilated place; the vapour is not inhaled, contact with skin and eyes is avoided, and gloves and glasses are worn if needed. Most products are flammable, so they are not applied to hot engine parts or used near sparks or an open flame. Before cleaning electrical connections, the battery is disconnected and power is not restored until the product has fully evaporated.
